Actor Sam Asghari is giving his fans mixed feelings amid his divorce from pop star Britney Spears.
The former couple got married in June 2022 after meeting on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016. The 29-year-old actor later filed for divorce on August 16, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. However, in court documents obtained by The Blast, he listed the date of separation as July 28.
Many fans have a lot of questions about the nature of their relationship and can’t help but wonder why the “Special Ops: Lioness” actor left the relationship only a little more than a year after they first got married.

Fans are clearly not sure how to feel about the former couple going their separate ways, with fans taking sides. Some fans feel that Sam was never right for Britney in the first place, while others feel that Britney might actually be the one at fault in causing the relationship to come to an end.
“Nobody would even know who you are if it wasn’t for Britney and I personally think that’s what it was all about for you. Of course, I don’t know that, but it sure feels accurate and if you take one cent from her during this divorce I and many others will have no doubt that your marriage to her was 100% usery and not love at all,” one user commented.
“He knew what he was getting into… if he truly cares for her he should just walk away and ask for nothing. Not one cent,” another user replied. “Every guy she gets with always, always wants something in return.
